Leptin and why you are not able to lose weight

It's not entirely your fault.

How many of you have ever tried to lose weight only to give up?

Have you ever started out eating healthier and exercising only to discover that the scale is stuck at a number and won't budge?

You would think that the easy solution to losing weight would be to move more and eat less?

That only works for so long until your body starts thinking it is going to starve to death and then starts holding onto every calorie you eat; thereby thwarting your best intentions. Does this sound familiar?

Did you know that if you are a woman over the age of 40 that the odds are greatly stacked against you? Your metabolism starts slowing down once you get into your 20's. I know mine hit a dead stop when I was 30. Then when you hit menopause, it suddenly becomes mission impossible to drop the pounds.

When I was 18, I could eat 2 hot fudge sundaes, go for a long bike ride and the scale would not show an increase at all the next day. When I was 25 I gave birth to our 2nd son. I gained 50 pounds. My husband purchased an exercise bike for me. I worked out for 20 minutes on the bike 3 times a week. Within 6 months, I had lost 40 pounds. Not bad, huh?

Fast forward, when I was 38, I had a partial-hysterectomy done. My doctor put me on a low dose of estrogen twice a week. I gained 12 pounds in 12 weeks. Suddenly, I was back up to 150 pounds. That doesn't sound like much for some people, but I am only 5 feet tall! With my doctors' consent, I discontinued taking the estrogen. I decided to go back on a somewhat strict diet and started walking on a treadmill for 3 hours a week. This time it took me 9 months to lose 35 pounds.

Clearly aging and hormones can be hazardous to your weight.

Losing weight doesn't have to be a losing battle. There is something you can do to help the process along and the latest in scientific research and development has found an answer.

There is a hormone in your body called, leptin. It is manufactured by every cell in your body. Leptin is an amazing hormone that serves as a messenger between fat cells and your brain. It tells your brain when you are hungry and when you are full. It acts like an on and off switch that alerts the fat cells in your body on whether or not they should store fat or burn it and use it for energy.

In order for this switch to work properly, your brain has to be able to clearly hear its message. It is only when your body is able to understand leptins' message, that your hunger will be satisfied easily. When you overeat, the message is lost.

So, my next question is, what can we do to help to insure that these messages are heard and understood properly?

University of Connecticut scientists have studied some testing done by a new company on the natural polysaccharides and fatty acids that are used in the manufacturing of their weight loss product.

Let's back up for a minute and answer the question, what are polysaccharides? Polysaccharides are very long sugar molecules that are structural components of a lot of other cells. They can be found in a good number of medicinal plants and foods that are non-toxic and have a very powerful effect on improving the immune system. Most of which are oyster and shiitake mushrooms,

Back to the clinical results of the tests that were done on this product. The tests were done over the course of an 8 week period. It was a double-blind placebo controlled study done among women of similar weights and demographics. They were placed on identical diets and exercise plans. One group of women were given a placebo, while the other was given the leptin-reduced product. Both of the groups of women lost weight, but the results of he supplement group were significantly better.

The supplement group lost: 21.5 pounds in 8 weeks.

3.96 inches off their waist

3.28 inches off their hips

1.2 inches off of each thigh

Experienced a 90% greater fat loss than the placebo group.

Because you are reading this blog, right now, you are among the first people to find out about this cutting edge product. It is called Mandura Trim.

You won't lose weight over-night. You still have to do your part with eating a healthy diet and getting some moderate exercise in at least a couple of times a week.

If you are tired of fighting a losing battle, it is finally your turn to win.

To get started on your journey to winning the battle of the bulge, send me a private message and I will be more than happy to introduce you to this fantastic product and company.  Enjoy your day!

This sounds wonderful, however I have a slightly different problem. I don't eat very much, but I can't lose much weight. I don't eat badly when I do eat, I just don't like to eat. And I've very active. My body just holds on to whatever I eat, I guess it is in that starvation mode. So from that little info, I'm wondering would this product work for me.

In starvation mode the body will hold even more fat for fear of not having the nutrition it needs.

Hi LilBlackDress, I have not used the product for awhile. I only have a few pounds to lose. I DO know of some people that have received tremendous results from the product. Let me know if you would like more information.
